The  Uptown Beer and Wine Festival organizers transform the 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge into a “beer and wine garden.” In addition to the chance to sample a variety of craft beers and wines, there’s also live music and food vendors who set up shop in Columbus’s historic Uptown during the event.

As summer fades into fall, community members gather by the river for RushSouth Fest, where musical notes and nature meet during a two-day event featuring rock, country, folk, the blues and water sports. Hundreds of athletes from around the globe come to the Chattahoochee River to compete in freestyle kayaking championships during the event, which also features triathlons and 5K runs.
