Join us (virtually) for our Painting with The Lodge activity featuring artist Adleyn Scott who will conduct an online workshop demonstrating how to paint a loose watercolor rendition of a flower bouquet. Watch as she shows you her techniques after the paint is dry where she will demonstrate some serious “mark-making” and doodles, using a black thin gel pen or prismacolor pencils.
Adleyn will be using these materials:
An assortment of watercolors to include ultramarine blue, a dark green (like sap green), a reel, and a yellow. Light pastel colors work will, too. A #6 round soft brush, Simply Simmons or Robert Simmons. Paper for the painting. this can be any type of paper, realizing that heavier paper works best. A watercolor block would be the easiest but single sheets work, too. A black gel thin pen – Micro pens are fine, at least .03 point. A photo of the flowers.
